Alternate Hypothesis: The opposing hypothesis of null hypothesis is known as alternative hypothesis. In the statistical mathematics the alternate hypothesis can be represented as H₁. The basic goal of alternative hypothesis is to show the difference in the population. It means to say that through the use of null hypothesis changes can be made into the experiment.
