Bow Hunter?s shoots start Friday
CUMBERLAND ? The Cumberland Bow Hunter?s Club will begin its weekly Friday night dot target shoots on Friday at 7 p.m. and the Monday night indoor 3D shoots on Monday at 6:30 p.m. These shoots are open to the public.

F Club monthly meeting tonight
CUMBERLAND ? Fort Hill F Club will have a meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Fort Hill.
If school is postponed the meeting will be rescheduled for Jan. 11 for the same time. Also, the F Club has cash bash tickets available for March 10 at the Outdoor Club. For ticket information contact Gary Laber at 301-268-2361.
Special Olympics basketball begins practice Friday
CUMBERLAND? ? The Allegany County Special Olympics will be holding basketball practice on Friday at 5 p.m. in the gymnasium at Second Baptist church in Cumberland.
Athletes will be taught dribbling, shooting, rebounding skills and will be placed on teams for the upcoming season. This is open to all Special Olympic participants in the county. All participants with all skill levels are welcome. Anyone interested in coaching should also attend. The gym is located on the corner of Oldtown Road and Grand Avenue, and athletes are asked to use the back entrance off the rear parking lot.
